1 july 2oo5 for the music programme two sets of performances took place, as well as an experimental dj set by resonance fm contributor and performer sarah washington. the first gig was an improvised laptop concert with four participants: mathias gmachl, brandon labelle, oblaat and michael j. schumacher. the other performance was by jem finer, playing hurdy-gurdy and dawn scarfe wine glasses. their performance took place in a lift hidden from spectators’ view and was amplified and transmitted at the end of the duveen galleries. |

blog our first birthday at the tate, brilliant fun, some great guest appearances from david devant and abdoujaparov, and apologies to mugstar for spilling my drink on your amp... met loads of great people, including some young fans (i think 4 was the record) had tons of fun and despite the tate's restaurants complaining about the noise i think everyone enjoyed themselves, many thanks to adrian for organising it all. art brut - website |
