| plot? typical damsel in distress capers really, although a bit different . this game takes a slight variation. y'see thrown into the arcadey plot is an adventure atmosphere. it blends in quite well too! hmmm, so what we've got is a kidnapped dame in a time, circa lord of the rings, with an arcade/adventure plot. whooah, excellent! you begin witha few axes, spells, and your trusty sword, and proceed through the many levels. by collecting gold along the way, more axes and spells, as well as keys, shields, and moontorc pieces can be bought. the moontorc is a magical stone set in a ring (or is it necklace?), which is required to pass the tollman at the end of each level, and a piece can be bought at each shop along the way. the smallish graphics are clearly detailed, with very little attribute clash, and the sound, i'm sure i've heard it before in scarborough. nice sprites, with a fairly detailed backdrop, ajoined with good playability and better sound make this a fairly enjoyable piece of kit. confusicus say, "yo, dude! buy this most triumphant game!" i think. in all, it's pretty excellent, and well worth the paltry £3.99. |
